DESCRIPTION:SPRING IS COMING!!! SPRING IS COMING!!!\n\nAnd you know what that means......Spring Camp Out 2022 is coming too!!! \n\nThe California Bluegrass Association is excited to return to the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds for the Spring Camp Out. This year it will begin on Tuesday\, April 19\, 2022\, and will run through the week\, ending on Sunday\, April 24\, 2022. You are welcome to spend Sunday night and leave on Monday morning\, but please be prepared to pay for camping that night\, as they charge us for that night too.\n\n\n\nWe have a new Campsite Reservation process which has worked well!! RV water and electric sites are $40 per night and Tent/car/van camping is $10 per night. To reserve your site\, please email Deb at: deblivermore@californiabluegrass.net.\n\nShowers and a RV dump station are available for your use. Payment (cash\, check or credit card) will be taken at the time of your arrival.\n\n\n\nThere is an assortment of restaurants\, wineries and beer breweries available for your taste buds and lots of shopping for those that love that! The Old Town of Lodi is within walking distance and has lots to offer.\n\n\n\nThe event is free to the public that want to come for the day to hear the Bluegrass music\, attend the Fiddle contest\, or visit with friends.\n\n\n\nThis year we have the California State Old Time Fiddlers Association joining us again! They will be holding their 54th Annual California State Old Time Open Fiddle & Picking Championship.\n\nIt will be held on Friday\, April 22 - Saturday\, April 23\, 2022. You can visit their website (www.csotfa.org) for more info on how to compete and the schedule of activities. We will be putting that info on the CBA web site as well (www.californiabluegrass.org).\n\n\n\nWe will have food vendors on Friday and Saturday. Patrick's House Catering will be serving their scrumptious gastro-intestinal delights this Spring. We also have High Water Brewing offering beer and wine!!! We aim to Please!\n\n\n\nSunday morning brings our Gospel Hour with Rich and Debra Ferguson. Please feel free to join them and bring your instrument and voice!\n\n\n\nWe also hold a CBA Board of Directors meeting on Sunday morning at 11am. You are welcome to come see how the board makes decisions or you may have suggestions or comments that you would like to present to the board. You are welcome to do that!\n\n\n\nAs always\, we need volunteers to make this event happen. We\, the CBA\, are run by volunteers. People who give of their time\, energy\, and even monetarily at times\, to provide our Bluegrass Family a safe place to play music with family and friends and have FUN! There is a benefit to volunteering as well. Please consider giving up four hours or more to help with this event. We always need help at the front gate!!! You may email volunteers@californiabluegrass.net to sign up.\n\n\n\nSo\, let's practice our breaks\, thicken up our calluses\, learn some new songs\, check on the camping gear\, clean out the ice chest\, and prepare to Play Bluegrass with friends and family at the Spring Campout 2022!!!!\n\n                              SEE YOU IN APRIL!!!!
