SUMMARY:Lodi Oktoberfest
DESCRIPTION:Lodi's longest continuing Oktoberfest has been hosted by the Lodi Tokay Rotary every year since 2006. You'll come for the beer\, the German food\, and stay to enjoy the German band and join the Oktoberfest games. We pour American and German beers at the Oktoberfest and cook up a storm of German dishes such as chicken schnitzel\, bratwurst\, pickled red cabbage\, sauerkraut\, and hot German potato salad. The Gruber Family Band plays a raucous mix of traditional German folk music and pop tunes. The highlight of their performance is a contest to see who can hold two big steins of beer at arm's length the longest. Herren und Damen are all welcome to show us your stuff. The winners keep the steins. If the crowd gets into it\, there might even be a yodeling contest. The Lodi Tokay Rotary Club revived the Oktoberfest sixteen years ago in 2006. We were celebrating Lodi's German heritage and the 100th year anniversary of the founding of Lodi's city government. Now\, the Lodi Oktoberfest is an annual tradition. And remember you don't have to be German to have fun at Oktoberfest. Tickets can be purchased at our website WWW.LODIOKTOBERFEST.COM prior to the event date. Dinner/Entrance tickets are $40.00 for adults and children 13+\, $15.00 for ages 2 to 12 included kids meal and entrance\, children 0 to 2 years old receive free entrance. Day-of-Event DOOR-SALES ages 13+ is $45.00. Meal/Entrance tickets are limited and should be purchased early.
