5:00pm - 7:00pm Peirano Tasting Room - FREE EVENT The THURSDAY WINE SMACKDOWN is a head-to-head challenge where YOU, the wine drinker, will decide the ultimate victor in an evening?s main event. Each bout will feature two wines of the same variety ?one from Lodi?s Finest and one from a European region- in a winner-take-all event. The wines will be paired with a complimentary appetizer that will bring out the subtle characteristics of the wines. Attendees will choose the winner by vote and to the victor goes the spoils! Except for the appetizers and the tastings. Those are all yours. The second match of the THURSDAY WINE SMACKDOWN features 2013 Malbec paired with Empanadas from the HOT BASKET BAKE SHOP!
