Cheese Central's 10-Year Anniversary, The Brew House, Farmers Market & More
We missed telling you that March 20th & 21st was Cheese Central's 10-Year Anniversary. We are sorry to let you know they were sampling a lot of tasty things and other fun stuff. Cindy Della Monica, owner of the best little cheese shop west of the Mississippi, was happy with all the people that turned out. I told her we would feature Cheese Central (CC) in this column. Hopefully giving folks like you a second chance to sample cheese you have never heard of. Go to CC and ask for a sample of Humbolt Fog; I do not think I have ever eaten anything like it. It has a creamy texture...the unique and pleasing flavor, my taste buds jumped up and saluted when it went over them. I recommend you go there, get a free sample, and enjoy. Go by and see Cindy and Crew and wish her another 10 years of fun, putting smiles on hundreds if not thousands of people in Lodi regularly.
Also, have you been to The Brew House in the past year? Not a brew house… The Brew House. It is right behind Rocky Mountain Chocolates. Owner, Laurie Dunn celebrated her first year in business this past weekend, as well. It is a great spot to ride your bike down to on Saturday morning. Laurie has a great selection of breakfast burritos, sweet rolls, and other tempting delights to enjoy while savoring some freshly brewed java or tea. Probably see you there.
Lastly, Marina, our All-Star Membership Director, says "Be sure to let you know that we have very limited space in the Farmers Market due to in-street dining. If you have been waiting for the Market to return to downtown, jump on this quickly… space IS limited. Same for Sponsorships which come with a space. We are limited on sponsorships as well. It is a great place to have your logo for 20 weeks or more. People love the Farmers Market, and they are grateful to those who sponsor one of the "best Farmers Markets in the state!" says the folks from Sacramento.
