This has been a full week already! I was hoping 2021 would slow down a bit instead of running at this break-neck COVID speed. The Pandemic still seems to cause disruption of how I would like to work, and how I would like to see the Chamber work… like it once did.
We are a smaller staffed organization still doing a larger staff workload. Quality of service to members is upper mind here as I am sure it is in your shop. But we must remind ourselves we need to celebrate our people. Time off, letting our hair down every now and again, being polite and understanding. We cannot lose what matters most in this hurry-up race we are in. In any organization, the most important asset is our people.
We will be making an announcement soon as to the 2021 May Street Faire, the Farmers Market, and the October Street Faire. We also will be embarking on some new initiatives aimed at both small to medium businesses and larger member businesses. You can see it is a very busy time and our mission remains the same…now more than ever. To be a catalyst for business growth, a convener of leaders and influencers for positive change, and always a Champion for Lodi.
