Project Proposals for Leadership Lodi Class of 2019
Since its beginning in 1990, the Leadership LodiProgram has inspired and motivated Lodi area citizens, future business, and community leaders to achieve higher levels of leadership responsibility. The annual ten-month, one-day-a-month program provides participants with the valuable and necessary information to understand the complexities of the Lodi community. Class participants discuss, explore and learn about topics such as Leadership Dynamics, Government, Education, Law, Agribusiness, Economic Development, Media, Health, Not-for Profit organizations, and the Arts.
Leadership Lodi participants seek to enhance their leadership potential and commit their individual talents for future years to the betterment of Lodi. Along with increasing their knowledge of the community, each class dedicates itself to the completion of a special project that benefits a not-for-profit member organization. They fund-raise, roll-up their sleeves, and do what it takes to give back to the same community that is giving so much to them during the Leadership Class Experience.
The Lodi Chamber of Commerce is now accepting 2019 Project Proposals from member not-for-profit organizations (CLICK HERE to download the application ), as well as requests to be a part of our informative session on this special day. We invite your organization to submit itself for consideration, for one of the following two categories:
- Proposal of Project:
Once reviewed, organizations will be notified by March 4, 2019 if their organization has been selected. As a reminder, Proposal Summary Sheets will be due no later than 5:00pm on February 14, 2019 for review and acceptance. There is limited slots available please respond ASAP to secure your spot.
- Informational Only:
We hope you will submit your organization’s project for proposal consideration! While this process is different from what you may have experienced in the past, we hope this new method of capturing which not-for-profit members are interested in participating will streamline the decision making process for our class participants. We want each organization to have an opportunity to create a well-written and executed project proposal, as well as gain valuable exposure to our 2019 Leadership Lodi class.
