Cepheid, a Danaher operating company based in Lodi, CA, is hiring a Director of Failure Investigation to lead root-cause investigation strategy and execution in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set strategy and priorities for failure investigations across Finished Goods, Consumables, and Reagents
- Lead complex investigations including root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and effectiveness verification
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to reduce recurring issues and improve reliability
- Ensure investigations meet FDA, ISO, GMP, and OSHA requirements
- Lead and develop a team of technical staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master's/Doctoral degree with 6+ years, plus 4+ years managing people
- Experience in regulated industries (FDA, ISO)
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
Compensation: $160,000 - $220,000/year, full-time, on-site in Lodi, CA. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
