The Salvation Army is hiring a Men's Side Front Desk Monitor for its Lodi shelter program.
Schedule: Day shift, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 8am to 4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide security of premises and carry out administrative/clerical duties
- Assist Shelter Director and Case Managers with overall shelter program functions
- Answer and forward calls; greet visitors, staff, and clients professionally
- Process clients for emergency shelter overnight stays and enter information into the client database
- Monitor overnight male clients, make hourly security rounds, and maintain a positive living environment
- Maintain client confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous shelter or social services experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations
- Basic computer and office equipment skills
- Ability to pass a background check
Compensation: $16.90 per hour.
