Welcome back, I took a little mid-summer break, enjoyed some of the local heat. Speaking of that, the Chamber has a lot cooking! That Bad Bill I equated to the old Doors song Riders on the Storm AB701 has been greatly reduced in its onerousness. It was downgraded from a Job Killer to an Oppose status. It is a bill in search of a problem that does not exist. Those workplace conditions the bill wants to thwart are already under Cal-OSHA or other jurisdictions.

Sala is a great asset here in our community. Come meet the owners and teachers that can turn your child into a future virtuoso. Many of their students are my age, who would like to play an instrument again or for the first time. It keeps us young!
Farmers Market was packed last week! As soon as the breeze kick in, the crowd follows. A special treat this week is - SAYLA, the very successful Music Academy, will be performing on the corner of School & Locust Streets. The school’s teachers are providing a variety of music and instruments throughout the night so come down to the Post Office front steps and enjoy the music from very accomplished musicians.
